1. Restart the Game

The game freezing or start-up issue is temporary and can be easily rectified by restarting the game. If you are on the game screen, try exiting to the home screen. Here is how you can do it. 

  1. Press the Xbox button from your controller, a guide will appear
  2. Now press the Menu button on your controller and then select the Quit option
  3. Once the process is over, you can again start the game

2. Power Cycle your Console

3. Check your Network Connection

  2. Now in the guide, select the Profile and Systems, then Settings, then General, then Network Settings
  3. In the Network Settings section, select the Test network connection

4. Change Game Profile

The issue can be caused due to corrupted profiles. To check if the issue is with the profile only you can try using the new profile for testing. Follow the steps mentioned below to change your profile.

  3. Now you can select the profile. Choose a profile other than the current profile

5. Remove and Re-Add your Profile

  3. Here you will witness the Remove accounts option, press it
  4. A list of all accounts will appear, you can choose the account which you wish to remove
  5. After selecting the account, press remove

Now that you have removed the account, you need to re-add it for playing games. Here is how to re-add:

  2. In the guide window, select Profile and Systems, select Add or Switch 
  3. Now select the Add new option
  4. Enter your profile credentials
